Instagram Sprints
I’ve worked on over 25 different projects with the Creative Shop team within Facebook/Instagram. Each project started with the brand’s existing assets and a dream: to rework and optimize stills, widescreen video and general concepts for Instagram’s and Facebook’s advertising platforms over the course of one day. The creative team from the brand collaborated with the experts from the Creative Shop, and while they brainstormed, I mocked up their concepts in real time, tuning and reworking them along the way. At the end of the day, the brand would leave with shippable assets. Working so quickly and adapting to changing ideas kept me on my toes and I’m really proud of the work that came from such a non-stop, anything-goes environment.
Camp Kuleshov
This piece won 1st place in the 2019 NY Camp Kuleshov graphics competition, and is one of my proudest accomplishments. It’s a modern take on opening titles for the 1902 classic La Voyage Dans La Lune. I wanted to convey the sense of wonder and innovation that the film represented for audiences of the time.
Spotify Case Study
Spotify enlisted my help to showcase their Pet Playlist initiative. I combined an existing animation that illustrated how the playlist was constructed with social videos, news segments, and Ozzy Osbourne’s dog’s playlist. If you’re wondering, one of my dogs had a bunch of hair metal on her playlist, and the other had all Simon & Garfunkel.
Mejuri
I kept these pieces for Mejuri super simple and elegant but also a little playful, just like their jewelry.
