Citizens

Citizens profiled minority-owned small business that are champions in their communities. Apostrophe Puzzles makes beautiful puzzles with contemporary artists of color, Micah Specialty Foods makes Ghanian hot sauce, and Terra Visuals makes videos that reflect their community in front of and behind the camera. I got the tremendous opportunity to bring these business-owners’ stories to life with these gorgeous documentaries, and was part of the team that won a Merit award for them at Hatch in 2023.

Target

Working on this national campaign with Mother NY was a delight. These three videos each had two accompanying :06 second edits highlighting one piece in the new line. The practical sets using the iconic bullseye made playing with the graphics really fun.

Nissan

To highlight the Nissan Titan’s new features, I cut a series of spots for each piece of tech, as well as high-energy :15 second videos that showed off what the truck can do.

Shine On with Reese

I was thrilled to cut this trailer for Reese Witherspoon’s series on her Hello Sunshine network and got to take notes on the incredible interviews she did with Dolly Parton, Elaine Weltheroth, and America Ferrera, among many other admirable women.

Voice of a Woman Festival

This montage kicked off the Voice of a Woman festival at the MoMA. The festival showcased films made by women, and I was honored to be a part of it. The promo generated hype on social media for the 2019 program.

Macy’s

These two videos come from a series of six I cut to accompany a broadcast :30 second spot. Using No Doubt’s “I’m Just a Girl” to spotlight the incredible work of the women featured was a dream come true.

Camp Kuleshov

I won 3rd place at the 2018 Camp Kuleshov competition with this Film Noir spin on the 2001 Swedish film Let the Right One In. I don’t know what was more fun: coming up with cold weather murder puns or animating them like old Hollywood titles.
